Our international buyers, Jan and Michael, have a great time globetrotting and finding the best unique finds to bring home to you. The large vintage sleigh that featured in our Christmas windows this year was one such overseas find - although this one was a bit too big to fit into their luggage on the trip home. The sleigh is called a Portland Cutter and is from Portland in Oregon. Designed to be drawn by a single horse, these sleighs were used between 1850 and 1910. Even though this year's Christmas has not happened yet, our buyers have already been planning next year's Christmas, which is sure to be better than ever.
This will be our last blog post for the year, so we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. We will be back on the blog on Tuesday 5th 2016.
