Product Manufacturing Warranty

At Alfresco Emporium, we take pride in the quality and presentation of every piece we offer. Each product is carefully selected and prepared to meet our standards before it reaches you. This Warranty Policy sits alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

 

Warranty Period

All products are covered by a 3-month manufacturing warranty from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated. This warranty applies to the original purchaser and requires proof of purchase. Where a manufacturing fault is confirmed within this period, we will assess the item and may offer a repair, replacement, or alternative resolution at our discretion.

 

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced where they do not meet acceptable standards of quality.

 

Use of Products

Unless otherwise stated, products are designed for residential use only. We do not provide warranty coverage for items used in commercial, hospitality, rental, or high-traffic environments.

 

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not apply to:

• Normal wear and natural ageing of materials
• Damage resulting from misuse, neglect, or accidental impact
• Improper assembly, installation, or maintenance
• Incorrect cleaning methods or products
• Modifications or unauthorised repairs
• Damage caused by pets, pests, or external factors
• Use outside of residential environments

 

Natural Materials & Finish

Many of our products are made using natural materials. Variations in tone, grain, texture, and finish are part of their natural character and are not considered faults.

 

Sun Exposure & Environmental Change

Exposure to sunlight, UV, heat, moisture, and general environmental conditions will naturally affect materials over time. This may include fading, discolouration, or subtle changes in finish. These outcomes are considered normal wear and are not covered under warranty.

 

Assessment & Resolution

If you believe your item has a manufacturing fault, please reach out to our customer care team who will review your claim and guide you through the next steps. To assist with assessment, we may request proof of purchase, images, and a description of the issue. In some cases, the item may need to be returned for inspection. Where a claim is approved, we will arrange an appropriate resolution, which may include repair, replacement, or an alternative outcome of equal value.

 

Returns for Warranty Claims

Where a warranty claim is accepted, we will cover return shipping costs. If an item is assessed and found not to be a manufacturing fault, return shipping may be the responsibility of the customer.
