What are you most proud of in your career so far?
I so proud that I love what I do. I have had a great career in journalism, from print media to TV and with my own successful blog. Everyday is different and am constantly challenged and excited about the opportunities that arise.

Who was your favourite person to interview for your Date with Kate column?
It was always fun to interview the big international names. Some of my favourites include Kim Kardashian, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Cameron Diaz, Naomi Campbell. Its so interesting to see what they are like in real life. Sometimes they are exactly as you expect and others completely surprise you!

I have a tennis bracelet from my late Grandma Valerie. She gave it to me before she passed away and I will always treasure it.

What luxe item in your home could you not live without?
I love my Sarah Ellison fluffy chair - it adds warmth and cosiness to my living room and I also love my Lucy Montgomery lamps adding soft light in the evenings.

What is your favourite Christmas memory?
My favourite Christmas memory when I was a child was when I was six years old and Santa gave my brother and I a little white pony which he left at my mums stables. That pony was called Gypsy and I owned her for over 20 years. she was a great love of mine.
But these days my favourite Christmas memories are with my own children, Just seeing their faces light up on Christmas day is so magical.

What is your favourite festive family tradition?
I love decorating the Christmas tree with the kids. We put on Christmas carols and the girls carefully arrange the ornaments. This year was made even more special as we recently renovated our home and we wanted our decorations to tie in with our coastal theme and the team at Alfresco Emporium brought it to life with their gorgeous tree, home decor and decorations.

What does Christmas Day normally look like for you?
We usual head to my family farm in the Southern Highlands and spend Christmas with my parents and my brother and his children. All the kids wake up and open their presents from Santa and then we have a beautiful family lunch. It’s my favourite day of the year.
