On location with our team

Our team headed to Avalon to bring our coastal Christmas collection to life for 2026. Here’s a little look behind the scenes as we dressed the tree, decorated the front entrance and set the Christmas table, ready for the camera.

Setting the scene

Our giant white metal bells set the scene, dressed with hessian and tartan ribbons and our Newport Blueberry picks. We paired them with woven rattan bells at the front entrance.

On the covered deck, we set the table with our new Batik Verdigris Tablecloth, designed in-house at Alfresco Emporium. Its striped border was echoed in the napkins, with vintage green Christmas plates, gold chargers with a woven-look finish and bamboo gold cutlery completing each setting.

White poinsettias and our rattan cordless touch lamps formed the centrepiece. Gold accents and woven textures gave the table an elegant, relaxed feel.

At each place setting, our signature gold gift bauble doubled as a decoration and a gift for guests to take home and hang on their own tree.

Months of planning

It’s always a fun day for the team when we see the collection come together for the first time after months of planning, reviewing samples and refining the products. Having our general manager’s children help with the shoot made the day even better. We finished the Avalon shoot with a toast.

On location in Collaroy

On Friday, we headed to another one of our local favourite homes in Collaroy, just behind our flagship store, for another shoot focused on the exterior. Garlands along the verandah, hanging white bells and a wreath on the front gate and on the doors carried the coastal Christmas look outdoors.
