at home with Alfresco

One of my favorite times of the year is just around the corner...Christmas. To say it's only eight weeks away or 56 days may freak some of you out, however, look at it as the perfect time to start planning. Venture up to your loft and pull down all your decorations, work out a theme for your Christmas decorating including table setting, lock in dates with friends and family to catch up and plan your Christmas Day feast.

A Christmas a table setting.

The planning for Christmas 2014 started at Alfresco Emporium mid 2013, over a year ago. We have been getting excited and unpacking hundreds of decorations and lights, listening to your feedback and designing what we think will be the best Christmas ever from Alfresco Emporium. Our Collaroy store is in the process of being transformed for Christmas and the Bundall store in Queensland will be set up by the end of next week. We always look forward to creating the Christmas window display at Collaroy and tying the giant red bow around the outside of the shop. The window display at Collaroy will be going up in the first week of December, but there is plenty to see in the meantime. One of the themes I can reveal is our beautiful traditional snow and red berry theme. Delicate pinecones covered in snow adorn the mantle with reindeer antlers and red berries mixed together to evoke a Christmas in the Canadian Alps. There are delicate glass decorations that sparkle under the lights of the tree and woodland finds, which stand out against red hessian ribbons and red table runners.

If you can't make it into the store just yet, why not check out our collection online. As always there are one off pieces that are only in-store, however if you find something online which you don't want to miss out on, then it's a great way to snap it up before the Christmas frenzy begins in-store.
