A Walk Through Ocean's Edge

When we last caught up with Deborah Hutton, she was selecting the furniture, finishes and décor that would shape her new Ocean's Edge home.

Fast forward a couple of months and the build has reached an exciting new stage.

Deborah recently returned to site with Peta Howe from Alfresco Emporium's Interior Styling team to walk through the home, see the latest progress and experience the spaces as they begin to come to life.

Seeing the Home Come to Life

As the build continues to take shape, it's now possible to experience each room in a completely different way.

Walking through the home, Deborah reviewed layouts, checked dimensions and began visualising how the furniture and décor selected earlier in the project will come together. Seeing the spaces at full scale brings a fresh perspective and helps refine the final details before installation begins.

Reviewing the Details

From furniture placement to finishes and lighting, every detail was carefully considered on site.

Paint colours, timber finishes, fabrics and decorative lighting were viewed in natural light, ensuring every element works beautifully together and reflects Deborah's vision for Ocean's Edge.

A Home Beginning to Take Shape

One of the highlights of the visit was seeing just how much progress has been made.

Rooms that once existed only as drawings are now revealing their character, with beautiful architectural details, carefully selected finishes and glimpses of the stunning ocean outlook hinting at what's still to come.

Next Stop... Installation

With the key design decisions now confirmed, attention turns to one of the most exciting stages of the project.

Over the coming months, custom pieces will be completed, furniture will arrive and the finishing touches will come together as Ocean's Edge is transformed into Deborah's new home.
